About The Position

Perficient is seeking a Data Management Architect to join their team in the United States. This role is primarily office-based with expected travel and on-site client engagements. The Solutions Architect will be knowledgeable in two or more Data & Analytics technologies, possessing expert infrastructure architecture, client presales/presentation, team management, and thought leadership skills. Responsibilities include providing best-fit architectural solutions, defining scope and sizing of work, anchoring Proof of Concept developments, providing solution architecture for business problems, performing platform integration, and designing complex features. The role involves collaborating with talented individuals to create and implement innovative solutions, participating in sales pursuits, and contributing to thought leadership, mentorship, systems analysis, architecture, design, configuration, testing, debugging, and documentation. The position offers opportunities to challenge leading-edge solutions and consultative business skills across diverse industry domains.

Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience
Strong experience in latest data trends and associated technologies including, but not limited to, Data Quality, Data Catalog, Data Lineage, Master Data Management
Familiarity with Data Governance Concepts – Policies, Procedures, Operating Models, Runbooks etc.
Expertise in building solutions from scratch as well as modernizing legacy architectures
Strong experience with data modeling in various industries
Expertise in at least two hyperscaler technologies – AWS, Azure, GCP
Familiarity in cloud-based data warehouse and/or lakehouse technology platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks etc.
Ability to communicate complex solutions to technical and non-technical users at various levels – typically department directors to C-Suite
Experience with both on-premises and cloud technologies and platforms
Expertise architecting solutions with multiple disciplines – performance, scalability, security
Crisp and clear communication – both verbal and written
Ability to create strong presentations using various tools
Knowledge of up-and-coming AI tools and technologies and industry trends
Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution
A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical considerations is expected
Travel up to 25%, sometimes more depending on program needs and often with short notice

Familiarity with AI-enhanced platforms is a plus

Responsibilities

Lead Pursuit teams with clients as a Data SME – RFP responses, Proactive proposals etc.
Work with multiple business units within Perficient
Lead complex client engagement delivery, often with ambiguity and little direction
Plan and lead workshops with client teams to understand current landscape, requirements, constraints and map to the latest technology products and platforms to come up with future architecture
Create phased implementation roadmaps from scope and resources perspectives
Articulate complex architectures to a variety of client teams, both technical and non-technical and build consensus among varying
Learn new technologies and platforms quickly and keep experience relevant to clients’ needs
Lead teams based off global locations in multiple time zones
Represent Perficient as an authority on enterprise architecture topics at industry forums, conferences etc.
