About The Position

This position will be responsible for general laborer tasks with the potential for advancement into other positions within the organization. Use of various tools
Operation of mobile equipment
Knowledge of environmental and safety rules
Knowledge of the functionality of all Plant equipment

Responsibilities

Performs material handling activities, as needed, using overhead cranes, front end loaders and other mobile equipment
Locate, monitor and perform field inspections on all Plant equipment
Make minor mechanical repairs.
Initiate necessary actions (report on, operate, repair, clean, feed, adjust, etc., plant equipment as required by supervisor)
Assist maintenance department personnel as needed
Perform preventive maintenance inspection and check lubrication systems
Perform whatever work as needed on preheater tower, such as operate cardox, blasters, air/water lances, clean ducts and vessels, inspect/troubleshoot equipment
Assist in laboratory product sampling and procedures
