About The Position

This role is responsible for managing the flow of orders through the assembly line, ensuring that the right orders are processed at the right time. The position involves reviewing job cards, coordinating with operators, managing inventory of threads and trims, and handling administrative tasks related to order processing and quality control. The Service Person also plays a key role in communication with sewing operators and planning for potential workflow disruptions.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Must be able to read and comprehend English language instructions
• Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to work well with a team
• Good attendance record
• Ability to navigate a computer

• Ability to look ahead and plan for possible slowdowns or sewing operators out of work.

Responsibilities

• Reads and reviews job cards and processes according to department procedures.
• Reviews the weekly work in process with the supervisor to ensure timely order processing.
• Matches work for operators based on order number and cut number.
• Fills out findings and trim restock forms to replenish necessary materials.
• Signs up machines for repair if the supervisor is unavailable.
• Communicates with all sewing operators.
• Plans for possible slowdowns or operators being out of work.
• Handles recuts and enters job card information into the Quality Collection Plan in Oracle.
