About The Position

Pape' Machinery, Inc. is seeking a Service Writer to join their team in Four Lakes, WA. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with a diverse range of people, building customer relationships, and problem-solving. The Service Writer will be responsible for ensuring efficient management of service department work orders, from opening to closing, while providing an excellent customer experience. This position involves overseeing service and warranty work orders, assisting with shop workflow, checking in equipment for repairs, and supporting customers. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong customer service focus and a positive attitude.

Requirements

Familiarity with Outlook, Word, Excel, and the ability to learn new computer programs.
Excellent customer relations and communication skills.
Ability to work with customers, mechanics, and other store personnel.
The ability to both delegate and take direction.
Ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with the agriculture industry.

Responsibilities

Ensure all service department work orders are opened, maintained, proofed, and closed efficiently.
