About The Position
Pape’ Kenworth, a premier medium and heavy-duty truck and equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a Service Writer to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with diverse customers, building relationships, and problem-solving. The Service Writer will ensure efficient management of service department work orders, oversee service and warranty work, assist with shop workflow, check in equipment for repair, and provide excellent customer service. Requirements
- Familiarity with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to learn new computer programs.
- Excellent customer relations and communication skills.
- Ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

- Mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with heavy trucks.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all service department work orders are opened, maintained, proofed, and closed efficiently.
- Provide an excellent customer experience.
- Oversee service and warranty work orders.
- Assist in shop workflow.
- Check-in equipment for repair.
- Assist customers.
