About The Position

Incumbents perform a variety of duties in support of the Fire Department’s purchasing, warehouse, and maintenance operations. Duties include obtaining bids; ordering, receiving, storing, and distributing station and firefighting equipment and supplies; conducting inventory; coordinating building and grounds maintenance for the Fire Department; and maintaining department inventory in the sanctioned software system.

Requirements

• An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
• Must have a valid Arizona driver license at the time of hire and be able to maintain it.

Responsibilities

• Obtain bids for station and firefighting equipment and supplies.
• Order, receive, store, and distribute station and firefighting equipment and supplies.
• Conduct inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Coordinate building and grounds maintenance for the Fire Department.
• Maintain the department inventory in the sanctioned software system.
