About The Position

This role is responsible for processing warranty claims, ensuring dealer compliance, managing purchase orders for the Service & Warranty department, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. The position involves reporting on warranty claim data, assisting with process and procedure manuals, and performing other assigned tasks. The role requires a combination of education and experience in warranty within a manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of bus manufacturing or transit industry would be considered an asset.
Experience in a manufacturing process a plus.
Having NetSuite experience would be a plus

Responsibilities

Process warranty claims – approve/deny or present issues outside of norm, authorized up to $500 without approval
Release warranty claims for payment
Monitor warranty claims to assure dealer compliance
Place any/all POs for Service & Warranty
Maintain high customer satisfaction
Help with Reporting, where needed
Provide semi-monthly reports of warranty claims approved, breakdown of claim totals by dealer, and breakdown of claims by labor operation codes including top ten codes which is communicated with Sales, Engineering, Production, Accounting, and Management
Provide data for quarterly TREAD reporting
Provide data for quarterly NHTSA reporting
Help with the Process & Procedure manuals
Other tasks as assigned
