About The Position

GMC Service Valet Service Valet helps ensure complete customer satisfaction by warmly engaging with customers and team members, moving vehicles in and around the service department, maintaining the cleanliness of vehicles and the service area, and transporting customers to/from their home when needed.

Requirements

  • Must be available to work on Saturdays
  • Fluent English speaking and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of the automotive industry
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to work well with others and be a team player
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to delivering world-class customer service
  • Efficient time management skills
  • Professional dress, speech, behavior, and appearance
  • Proficiency in computer skills

Responsibilities

  • Greet, all customers in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
  • Assist Service Advisors with providing excellence in customer service
  • Help customers to the appropriate department or point-of-contact
  • Drive vehicles to and from service areas and lot as needed
  • Install tags in all vehicles brought for service
  • Help maintain lot appearance by cleaning driveway and sidewalks, and removing debris as necessary
  • Helps maintain department cleanliness, including windows, doors, floors, etc.
  • Follow all safety and security procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned
