About The Position
We are seeking a Service Truck Sales Representative to drive new and used commercial work truck sales. You will work closely with contractors, fleet managers, and utility companies to spec, quote, and sell specialized crane bodies, lube trucks, and mechanic service bodies. This position offers a competitive base salary plus commission to reward top performers.
Requirements
- 2+ years of commercial vehicle sales, industrial equipment sales, or vocational truck upfitting experience.
- Technical understanding of Class 4–8 chassis, hydraulics, air compressors, and electrical upfit systems.
- Specific knowledge of crane capacities, lube delivery systems, and heavy-duty mechanic bodies.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (CDL is a plus).
- Strong pipeline management skills using CRM software.
Responsibilities
- Identify new business by targeting contractors, construction companies, heavy equipment fleets, and municipal accounts.
- Consult with buyers to determine the exact payload, crane capacity, fluid capacity, and tool storage requirements for their fleet.
- Build accurate quotes for custom upfitted chassis and bodies.
- Manage relationships with major body manufacturers and local upfitters.
- Track the build process from chassis arrival through final delivery to ensure accuracy.
- Demonstrate product features including PTO systems, hydraulic cranes, and fluid delivery systems.
