Service Technician
About The Position
Mallory Safety & Supply is hiring a Service Technician to join our Service team. As a Service Technician, you will meet the needs of our customers by assembling and repairing life-saving devices. Our ideal candidate is someone who takes initiative, possesses creative problem-solving skills, a desire to be part of something greater, and navigates through challenges with a growth mindset. This role operates locally in the Modesto area and is a dynamic one, involving mechanical knowledge, client relations, and onsite operations. You will act as a representative of Mallory on our client site, ensuring the highest safety standards. This is great for someone who likes working with their hands, working independently, and working in an industrial setting.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with at least two years of driving experience and a driving record that aligns with our Safe Driver policy is required
- Strong mechanical aptitude required
- Minimum two year commitment!
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as well as bend, reach, twist and walk throughout the day
- Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel out of state occasionally for continued trainings.
- Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering results
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with technology and various software, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to read and write in English

- Previous experience with safety or industrial equipment preferred
Responsibilities
- Assemble, service and repair life saving industrial equipment
- Act as a representative of Mallory and provide excellent customer service to our clients
- Complete ongoing internal and external training
- Assist with visits to client locations in the local Modesto area
- Collaborate with the team on various service projects
