About The Position

Superior Plus Propane is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join their team at the New London, NH customer service center. The role involves propane service, tank installation, leak identification and correction, responding to customer emergencies, and performing tank maintenance and inspections. The technician will also be cross-trained for bobtail truck propane deliveries and will communicate proactively with various team members and customers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• NH Gas Fitter's Lice required
• CDL Class A or B
• Legal Authorization to work in the US is required

Nice To Haves

• 2-3 years propane gas/oil service preferred; HVAC
• Hazmat/ Tanker endorsement preferred
• Propane Delivery License preferred

Responsibilities

• Propane service and tank installation.
• Able to identify and correct any leaks from the tank to equipment connection.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed
• Rotate “on call” status during evenings and weekends as needed
• Perform tank maintenance spare tanks located in the plants in preparation for putting them in service.
• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
• Will be cross-trained to assist with bobtail truck propane deliveries as needed
• Consistently communicate proactively with the Service Manager, CSC Manager, Dispatcher, Sales reps, drivers, and customers as necessary
