Requirements

• Previous automotive repair experience required
• Basic knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to diagnose and repair vehicle concerns
• Strong attention to detail
• Good problem-solving skills
• Reliable and dependable
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to provide professional hand tools appropriate for your experience level

Nice To Haves

• Automotive technical school or training is a plus
• ASE certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles accurately and efficiently
• Perform routine maintenance and manufacturer-recommended services
• Inspect vehicles and identify mechanical and electrical concerns
• Perform brake, suspension, steering, and other repairs
• Diagnose drivability and performance issues
• Use diagnostic equipment and repair information to troubleshoot problems
• Complete repairs according to Nissan and dealership standards
• Perform quality-control checks to make sure the job is done right
• Communicate repair needs and findings with Service Advisors
• Keep accurate records of work performed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Work with the rest of the service team to keep vehicles moving through the shop
• Continue learning as automotive technology evolves
