About The Position

Beztak Senior Living is seeking to hire a Service Technician to join their family of talented individuals. This position is responsible for ensuring the property, grounds, and equipment are safe, orderly, and visibly appealing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for service and a commitment to excellence, working together to make senior residents feel at home in their communities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or related Vocational Training and/or equivalent work experience
• 1-year experience in similar field required
• Willing and able to drive for work-related purposes as needed.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC knowledge
• EPA certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform various duties such as building repairs, snow removal, or groundskeeping to provide residents with a clean and well-maintained living environment.
• Work with a sense of urgency to ensure all service requests are responded to in a timely manner.
• Responsible for inventory management and overseeing the cleanliness and orderly manner of the maintenance shop.
• Maintain and care for equipment as may be necessary for its continuous operation.
• Complete emergency repairs as may be required to prevent damage or deterioration.
• Document replacement of appliances, carpet, vinyl, water heaters, condensers, etc., in all units.
• Track systems repairs, apartment painting (full paint or touch-up), refrigerator coil cleaning, and other major repairs.
• Note building deficiencies or needs to Supervisor in writing.
• Operate a company vehicle or personal vehicle (as required) to perform job duties.
• Work in a high-pressure environment, interacting with difficult customers/vendors, handling urgent matters, resolving conflicts, and having effective interpersonal skills.
