About The Position

Joyce Windows, Sunrooms & Baths is seeking an experienced Part-Time Service Technician to support homeowners throughout the Pittsburgh market. This flexible field-based role focuses on completing warranty work, service calls, repairs, and punch list items for windows, doors, baths, sunrooms, and exterior remodeling projects. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates well with homeowners, and enjoys working independently. This role offers supplemental income, a flexible schedule, and potential opportunities to assist with installation projects depending on workload and experience.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in the home improvement industry
Experience servicing or installing windows, doors, baths, sunrooms, siding, or other exterior remodeling products preferred
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and manage your schedule
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Reliable transportation
Dependable work ethic and professionalism

Responsibilities

Complete residential warranty and service calls for windows, doors, baths, sunrooms, and exterior remodeling projects
Diagnose product, installation, and performance issues and determine the appropriate solution
Perform repairs, adjustments, punch list items, and other corrective work
Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout each service visit
Coordinate with project managers, customer service, and installation teams as needed
Travel throughout the Pittsburgh market to customer homes
Assist with installation projects when available and desired
