About The Position
Blossman Gas & Appliance is seeking a Service Technician or Service Apprentice for their growing location in Trenton, GA. This is an opportunity to build a career with a stable, large, independent propane company. Service Technicians install propane tanks for residential and commercial customers, and install, service, and maintain gas comfort equipment. Apprentices work alongside experienced technicians, gaining hands-on experience and participating in classroom and online learning. The Service Technician role is ideal for those with prior propane, appliance installation/repair, or mechanical experience. Apprenticeship positions can lead to higher technician statuses. The role requires customer service skills, occasional on-call duty, and teamwork. A strong commitment to safety is essential. Apprenticeship positions do not require experience but benefit from prior mechanical work, tool use, and a positive attitude. Competitive hourly pay is based on experience. Requirements

Responsibilities
- Install propane tanks for residential and commercial customers.
- Install, service, and maintain gas comfort equipment such as water heaters, dryers, ranges/stoves, fireplaces, and generators.
- Learn 'hands-on' the work through pairing with Service Technicians (for Apprentices).
- Participate in classroom and online learning to gain knowledge and experience.
- Provide customer service.
- Perform occasional on-call duty.
- Contribute to a team environment.
- Commit to safety consistent with company policy.
