About The Position

BLOSSMAN GAS & APPLIANCE, INC is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Route Driver at our Florence branch location in the Jackson, MS area. This is a local driving position with no overnight stays, serving customers in the Rankin / Madison County, MS areas. Blossman Gas is the largest independent propane company in America with over 85 locations. The CDL Route Sales professionals are responsible for the safe, timely delivery of propane on established routes to commercial and residential customers. The company has an established teamwork culture and provides training for success in the role. The position requires customer service skills, occasional on-call duty, and a commitment to safety. Driving and delivering in all-weather conditions is routine. Regular bending, lifting, and pulling are associated with this job. A clean driving record is needed, and a valid CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements is required within 90 days of hire, with company assistance available if the driver commits to staying for 2 years.

Requirements

Valid CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements within 90 days of hire.
Clean driving record.
Prior propane delivery or route sales experience is preferred.
Strong mechanical experience is a plus.
Ability to work in all-weather conditions.
Ability to perform regular bending, lifting, and pulling.
