The Service Technician will be responsible for performing component level diagnosis and calibration of high technology instruments. This role involves updating electronic and software for Reichert products, working closely with the engineering team on root cause analysis for warranty/field returns, and providing repair estimates for billable services. The technician will also handle occasional field service calls within the country and provide technical telephone support. Additionally, they will perform technical troubleshooting and repairs on Reichert products, potentially train other Service Technicians, and ensure all equipment and tools are maintained in good working condition. Maintaining an organized and clean work area in accordance with 5S initiatives and performing rework of products as instructed are also key responsibilities.
