About The Position

Plunkett's is seeking a Service Technician to manage their own route, provide pest control services, and build strong customer relationships. This role services Rockford, IL and the surrounding areas. The technician will be responsible for inspecting properties, treating for common pests, and looking for opportunities to grow the route through sales. The role involves using basic equipment and tools, working in indoor and outdoor conditions, and utilizing mobile apps for daily tasks. Plunkett's offers a comprehensive training program to earn necessary licenses and provides a supportive team environment.

Requirements

• Comfortable talking with customers and selling services
• Self-starter who thrives working independently
• Eager to learn. We'll train and license you.
• Comfortable with physical work and outdoor conditions
• Able to use mobile apps for daily tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Regularly lift and move 25 to 50 lbs (occasionally up to 100 lbs). Perform physical tasks like bending, reaching, and extended walking or sitting.
