About The Position

Destination Kia is looking for passionate, skilled, and driven B-Level Service Technicians to join their dynamic team. This role involves diagnosing and repairing Nissan vehicles, performing routine maintenance, utilizing diagnostic tools and factory training, and ensuring all work complies with safety and quality standards. The technician will also be responsible for documenting work, road testing vehicles, maintaining accurate records, staying updated on automotive technologies, and delivering a world-class customer experience.

Requirements

3+ years of experience as an automotive technician (Nissan or import experience a plus).
A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for all things automotive.
A team-player attitude and a commitment to continuous learning.
Must be available to work Rotating Saturdays
Have your own basic set of hand tools
Must be able to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues AND, do it right the first time in accordance with factory and dealership standards.

Nice To Haves

ASE Certification(s) preferred, but not required — we’ll help you get there!
NYS Inspection License is a plus!

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair Nissan vehicles with speed, accuracy, and integrity.
Perform routine maintenance services (oil changes, brake jobs, inspections, etc.).
Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and factory training to stay ahead of the curve.
Ensure that all work complies with safety and quality standards.
Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
Road test vehicles when required.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and services provided.
Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Deliver a world-class customer experience by ensuring every car leaves the shop running at its best.
