About The Position

A leading electronics testing company is seeking a Service Technician to be responsible for the calibration of RF Signal Generators. This role involves performing calibrations, adjustments, and repairs on Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE). The technician will solve technical problems of limited scope and complexity, escalating more difficult repairs to experienced technicians. Responsibilities include clarifying, analyzing, developing, and implementing actions and solutions while supporting field staff and customers. The role emphasizes providing internal and external customer satisfaction through effective communication, innovation, and direct application of technical skills. Maintaining high workmanship standards, delivering on commitments, and promoting ESD, Service Note compliance, and other programs for high-quality service and minimized re-repair are key. The technician may initiate customer interaction as appropriate and escalate issues through appropriate channels when necessary.

Requirements

  • Requires calibration and repair of signal generators with ranges up to 67 GHz.
  • Maximizes the use of existing assets, multi-tasks effectively, and ensures the company resources are used properly (i.e., connector care, ESD, ETE).
  • Understanding of and compliance with ESD protocol and connector care.

Nice To Haves

  • 4+ years of related experience in the calibration and repair of electronic test equipment is preferred.
  • Education, specialized training/certification, or applicable Military experience.

Responsibilities
