About The Position

Bobby Rahal Toyota of State College and Lexus of State College is seeking an Automotive Service Technician. This role involves troubleshooting vehicle problems, providing honest recommendations for repair and maintenance, and performing mechanical, electrical, and general automotive system repairs. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, stay up-to-date with the latest knowledge and factory training, and possess integrity and transparency in their work. A PA state emissions and inspections license is required.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Valid state emissions and inspections licenses.
Must have your own tools.
Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time.
Physical ability to walk, bend, squat, reach, turn, twist, and make repetitive motions.

Nice To Haves

AC certification is preferred.
ASE training is preferred.

Responsibilities

Identify problems with clients' vehicles using excellent troubleshooting skills.
Give honest recommendations for upcoming vehicle repair and maintenance needs.
Perform repair work on mechanical, electrical, and general automotive systems accurately and efficiently.
Stay up-to-date with the latest knowledge and factory training.
