About The Position

As a Service Technician, you help create a safe, well-maintained, and comfortable living environment for residents. You perform basic maintenance tasks, support unit turnovers, maintain community spaces, and deliver prompt, friendly, high-quality service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of household repairs and use of hand tools, or willingness to learn.
• Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong customer-service skills and a professional attitude.
• Ability to lift, carry, climb ladders, and work in various indoor and outdoor conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Nice To Haves

• 1–2+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or related work.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and general apartment upkeep.
• Complete make-ready tasks so vacant units are clean, functional, and ready for new residents.
• Maintain the property's appearance through daily grounds upkeep and trash removal.
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident service requests, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Assist with assigned preventative maintenance and seasonal projects.
• Report safety hazards, recurring issues, and larger maintenance needs to a supervisor.
