About The Position

As our new Service Technician, you will be managing end-to-end workshop and field service activities — from inspecting and repairing returned pumps to delivering professional reports and ensuring every job meets the highest safety and quality standards. You'll be part of a diverse, supportive and inclusive culture that puts people first by fostering growth, well-being, and a sense of belonging. This position will report directly to the Head of Service & Solutions for the Northeast and will be a onsite position based in Allentown, PA. Candidates will be expected to travel out to the field as needed and then work onsite.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical discipline (mechanical, electrical, or related field)
  • A minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience in a service, repair, or workshop environment.
  • Experience servicing Pumps, motors, controls, or have rotating equipment experience is required.
  • Proficiency with SAP, MS Word, and MS Excel
  • Detail-oriented technical problem solver with strong customer service skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of warranty claim processes and quality improvement reporting
  • Familiarity with health & safety regulations and risk assessment procedures in a workshop or field service setting

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspection, fault analysis, warranty qualification, repair, and performance testing of returned pumps in the workshop and at customer sites
  • Register customer information, perform risk assessments, and clean pumps according to EHS sanitary requirements upon receival
  • Process warranty claims in FAS, report product quality issues in QIP, and prepare quotations for non-warranty repairs
  • Deliver professional repair reports to customers, coordinate packing and shipping of completed units, and handle merchant returns and credit processing
  • Perform regular workshop maintenance including calibration and upgrade of equipment and tools, and conduct workplace safety inspections
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, service partners, and internal stakeholders while communicating Safety, Health, and Environment matters
