Service Technician - Massey Cadillac North
About The Position
Massey Cadillac North is actively hiring experienced Automotive Technicians at multiple skill levels, including Flat Rate Technicians, up to Master Technicians. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing dealership service team with a strong workflow, modern equipment, and ongoing manufacturer training. Technicians in this role will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles while delivering high-quality workmanship and efficiency. EV Technicians will focus on advanced electric vehicle systems, including battery diagnostics, high-voltage components, and emerging automotive technologies.
Requirements
- At least 3+ years of dealership automotive, repair experience, flat rate candidates.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, including electrical and drivability concerns.
- Experience with routine maintenance and complex repairs (brakes, suspension, engine, electrical systems).
- ASE certifications (A1–A8, L1, or L3) and/or manufacturer certifications.
- Ability to efficiently complete work in a flat-rate environment and meet productivity goals.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for diagnostics and repair documentation.
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.
Nice To Haves
- Experience or training in electric and hybrid vehicle systems highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on customer vehicles efficiently and accurately
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical and electrical issues
- Complete work according to dealership and manufacturer standards
- Accurately document repair orders and communicate findings with service advisors
- Maintain productivity levels in a flat-rate pay structure
- Stay current with evolving automotive technology, including EV systems
- Follow all safety protocols, especially when working with high-voltage EV components
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
