Four Star Freightliner is looking for a Diesel Technician/Diesel Mechanic of Level A & B at Midway, FL. We are seeking individuals who are looking for a great career and to be part of a family. Requirements

Experience in Service Tech for at least 5 years
Diesel Engine experience preferred with Detroit & Cummins Engine
Freightliner Experience/Certification plus
Extensive knowledge of the diagnosing, maintenance and repair of Heavy and light duty Trucks, Diesel Engines, and related mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic component systems
Experience using and caring for the tools and equipment
CDL Plus

Nice To Haves

Diesel engine repair: 3 to 5 years (Preferred)
Mechanical knowledge: 5 years (Preferred)
Heavy duty truck: 2 to 5 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair diesel engines, systems, and components, including fuel, brakes, steering, suspension, and transmission systems.
Conduct regular maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and system inspections to prevent potential issues.
Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical problems and implement effective solutions.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to safety protocols.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance service quality and efficiency.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about vehicle issues and repair timelines.
Ensure a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety and environmental regulations.
