About The Position

Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) is a leading provider of truck, crane, and heavy equipment services across the USA, catering to the needs of major utilities, telecom, construction, forestry, oil, and rail companies. Our equipment includes Boom Trucks/Cranes, Bucket/Dump Trucks, Digger Derricks, Utility Trucks, and more. We are looking for a Service Technician with expertise in Utility Trucks, Cranes, and Hydraulics.

Requirements

3 plus years of related experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Own set of tools required.
Valid driver’s license.
Background in hydraulic fluid power troubleshooting.
Background in pneumatic tool troubleshooting.
Experience troubleshooting diesel equipment and aftertreatment systems.
Experience with Quick Serve, DTNA and other diagnostic software.
Knowledge of 12V electrical systems including multi-plex wiring.
Basic understanding of truck mounted hydraulic systems and installation procedures.
DOT, ANSI and Dielectric testing.

Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose, and repair a variety of utility equipment from various manufacturers.
Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using appropriate tools.
Test mechanical products and equipment to ensure compliance with specifications.
Perform routine maintenance and cleanliness tasks on equipment and vehicles.
Maintain accurate records of parts, services, and labor for cost tracking.
Adhere to safety protocols and attend monthly safety meetings.
Follow both written and verbal installation instructions.
