About The Position

Premium Velocity Auto/ Jiffy Lube (PVA) is hiring Service Technicians. No automotive experience is required, as training will be provided. The role involves safely performing various services to meet customer needs and ensure vehicle safety. PVA seeks reliable individuals with a growth mindset committed to customer satisfaction. Customer service/sales experience is preferred but not required. Qualified candidates can work well in a team, have great communication skills, and are efficient in fast-paced environments. A valid driver's license is strongly preferred but not required.

Nice To Haves

All levels of automotive service and repair experience considered.
Valid Driver's License strongly preferred.
State Motor Vehicle Inspector License preferred.
Proven face-to-face customer service or sales experience preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Keen listening and reasoning skills to capture guests' product needs.
Confident in overcoming objections and not afraid of rejection.

Responsibilities

Provide impartial recommendations or options that are tailored specifically to guest's needs based on manufacturer recommendations and technicians' findings.
Work efficiently to service the customers in a timely fashion, prioritizing safety always.
Vacuum and sanitize interior of vehicle and clean windshield when vehicle enters.
Perform preventative maintenance such as oil and filter change, refill fluid levels, and inspecting and replacing lights, wiper blades, brakes, and tires following J Team Service Standards (JTSS).
Perform automotive maintenance of the engine, transmission, axles, steering and suspension, brakes, electrical, heating/air conditioning, tires, batteries, and spark plugs.
Perform multi-point Inspection of automotive vehicles to ensure compliance to emission standards and governmental regulations and maintain detailed records of vehicles inspected as needed.
Participate in regular on-site and e-learning training, and maintain compliance with Jiffy Lube safety requirements, OSHA, and state regulations.
Participate in marketing events and promotions.
Keep customer, inventory, and service records and participate in inventory stocking.
Perform housekeeping/minor building maintenance.
Promote customer loyalty by ensuring completion of quality workmanship, reviewing services completed with guest, confirming guest satisfaction, and encouraging return at recommended intervals.
Other duties as assigned by management.
