The Service Technician will be responsible for maintaining positive interactions with residents and the public to enhance the community image and ensure superior resident retention. This role involves performing general and emergency maintenance of apartments and common areas, including snow removal during snow events that may occur after hours and on weekends. The technician will create and maintain a customer-centered service culture by demonstrating proactive hospitality with prospects, residents, family members, and fellow community associates. Maintaining confidentiality of prospect or resident information and ensuring an attractive community appearance with positive curb appeal are key aspects of this position. The role also includes daily cleaning and maintenance of the property, performing apartment turnovers, utilizing company databases and software, identifying and addressing maintenance issues and hazards, and documenting property inspections. The Service Technician must be available and on-call for emergencies after hours, weekends, holidays, or as assigned, and maintain a professional appearance with a designated maintenance uniform. Dependability, adherence to schedule, and the use of personal protective equipment are essential. The position also involves assisting with third-party inspections and participating in OSHA10 Training.
