About The Position

Join Our Team! We are seeking an experienced Trim & Electrical Technician to join our growing Chevrolet dealership. If you have strong diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and experience with automotive electrical systems and interior trim repairs, we’d like to hear from you.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience as an automotive trim and electrical technician.
Strong electrical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read wiring diagrams and use GM service information.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

Previous GM/Chevrolet dealership experience is preferred.
Experience with GDS2, MDI, and other GM diagnostic equipment is a plus.
ASE certifications are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair electrical concerns on Chevrolet and GM vehicles.
Perform electrical troubleshooting using factory diagnostic equipment and service information.
Repair and replace wiring harnesses, modules, sensors, and electrical components.
Remove and reinstall dashboards, door panels, headliners, seats, consoles, and other interior trim components without damage.
Perform repairs related to infotainment systems, HVAC components, airbags (SIR), power accessories, and other electrical features.
Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs according to GM standards.
Accurately document repairs and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Work closely with service advisors and other technicians to ensure quality repairs and customer satisfaction.
