About The Position

The Service Technician III role is responsible for managing the flow of orders through the assembly line, ensuring timely processing, and maintaining necessary supplies. This position involves communication with sewing operators, planning for potential workflow disruptions, and handling recuts and data entry into Oracle. The role requires a positive attitude, strong teamwork, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to read and comprehend English language instructions
• Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to work well with a team
• Good attendance record
• Ability to navigate a computer
• Standing, sitting, walking, bending as needed.
• Hearing and vision required to be within normal ranges with or without correction.
• Using proper lifting technique may be required to lift objects up to 40 lbs.
• May be required to operate traditional office equipment including computers, copiers, fax machines and telephones if needed.
• Displays ambitious, positive attitude
• Interpersonal skills to build relationships with site leadership and team mates.
• May be required to occasionally interact with customers.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, work proactively and independently in a fast-changing environment
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)

Responsibilities

• Reads and reviews job cards and processes according to department standards.
• Reviews the weekly work in process with the supervisor to ensure correct order sequencing on the assembly line.
• Matches work for operators based on order number and cut number.
• Fills out findings and trim restock forms to replenish necessary thread and trim for ongoing cuts.
• Signs up machines for repair when the supervisor is unavailable.
• Communicates with all sewing operators.
• Plans ahead for possible slowdowns or operators being out of work.
• Handles recuts and enters job card information into the Quality Collection Plan in Oracle.
