The Service Technician II requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience to complete routine and standard projects and assignments within the Technician Services family. Works under general supervision. This role involves performing residential and/or light commercial service and maintenance calls, analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving customer problems in a courteous, professional, timely, and accurate manner. The technician will diagnose and perform services on heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment as well as accessories, and inspect equipment to identify potential problems to prevent premature and unexpected breakdowns. Responsibilities include completing routine maintenance, delivering and removing parts and equipment, recording customer call information using a hand-held device, completing paperwork accurately, and collecting payment. The role also requires communication with dispatch, providing excellent customer service, promoting products and services, and representing the company professionally and ethically. The technician is responsible for maintaining company property, vehicles, and tools, ensuring the vehicle is properly stocked, returning defective warranty parts, and replenishing vehicle stock as needed. Regular, reliable attendance is expected.
