Because of that, we are on the hunt for go-getters ready to embark on a career adventure with us! We are seeking a skilled Service Technician II to join our team. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and performing a variety of technical and mechanical tasks to ensure our community meets our standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of multifamily facilities/apartment maintenance (property management).
  • Experience with electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
  • Possession of personal tools, required.
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Able to push, pull and lift over 50lbs.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must have proper tools, meters, gauges and power tools required for all trades
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and adequate car insurance
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be available for weekend, holiday and evening work as needed
  • Travel and overnight stays are limited but may be required
  • Must always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
  • High school diploma required and professional knowledge of all trades/maintenance discipline.
  • At least 1 year of experience in apartment maintenance or related field

Nice To Haves

  • Strong HVAC knowledge and experience preferred.
  • EPA certification preferred.
  • Universal type EPA Certification preferred
  • Swimming Pool Certification preferred
  • College degree and/or certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Complete work orders generated by residents for regular maintenance of residential apartment homes and other areas on the property to include building exteriors, building interiors and common areas.
  • Perform HVAC, small appliances, plumbing, electrical and other repairs in residential loft apartments and other areas on the property.
  • Part of a rotating schedule of being available for emergency calls and respond to those according to the company's policy on after-hour emergency calls.
  • Completes monthly Preventative Maintenance procedures
  • Diagnosing the source or cause of the defect or problem and making proper repairs.
  • Completes the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing and new move-ins by completing the pre-move-out inspection, creating a “punch” list of maintenance work needed, scheduling vendors and contractors as needed, obtaining needed supplies and materials, completing all maintenance tasks, and inspecting completed work.
