About The Position

Accel Entertainment, Inc. is a growing provider of gaming and one of the largest terminal operators in the United States. This position involves being in the field 40 hours per week, working in various locations such as bars, restaurants, gas stations, and truck stops. The role requires maintaining and repairing gaming devices, ATMs, amusement equipment, and redemption devices. The company provides a turnkey, full-service, capital-efficient gaming solution. Multiple service positions are available across all areas of Illinois. The company offers training for inexperienced candidates and requires weekend availability. A shift differential is provided for weekends and second/third shifts. The position starts from home, and a company-supplied vehicle and fuel card are provided. Requirements

  • Great Customer Service
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Terminal Handler's License (costs covered by company)
  • Ability to communicate effectively & follow written or verbal instruction
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, analytical skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Minimum of 21 years of age
  • Frequently required to lift/push weights up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant experience preferred but not required – ATM, amusement, gaming or other electronic / mechanical aptitude (examples – HVAC, low voltage, cable, phone, internet, automotive)
  • Computer literacy helpful but not required

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair gaming devices, ATMs, amusement equipment, and redemption devices.
  • Load and unload supplies.
  • Assist in other areas as needed.
  • Respond to and troubleshoot service calls for equipment repairs in a timely manner.
  • Interact with clerks, restaurant staff, management, and customers to solve issues as they arise.
  • Provide exemplary customer service.
  • Manage inventory to ensure parts are available when repairs are needed.
  • Complete all necessary documentation for device entry and logs.
  • Perform auditing procedures on slot machines, amusement devices, dispensers, and ATMs.
