You’ll play a critical role in keeping our customers productive and their equipment operating at peak performance.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience as a heavy equipment technician or mechanic
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment such as John Deere, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Case CE, and more
  • Strong knowledge of engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
  • Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic diagrams
  • Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
  • Must possess basic tools of the trade
  • Comfortable using laptop computers and basic software applications
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours when needed
  • Willingness to work in various environmental conditions
  • Ability to solve problems independently with little supervision

Responsibilities

  • Performing preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and major repairs on heavy construction and forestry equipment
  • Using strong diagnostic and mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Applying root cause analysis to solve complex problems
  • Working with the Service Advisor and Service Manager to provide accurate machine information, including: Make, model, and serial number Parts, tools, and supplies used Identification of additional repairs needed
