About The Position

Curtze Food Service, one of the nation's largest independent foodservice distribution companies, is currently seeking a Service Technician focusing on the repair and service of commercial kitchen dishwashing and beverage equipment in the Bedford, PA market. This job pays $18 - $23/hour PLUS bi-annual bonus, commission on parts sold, AND rotating weekend on-call pay. You will have a company service van and start from your home each day. ON-THE-JOB TRAINING! If you have a maintenance/technical background, we will train you on the job. Plumbing and electrical experience very helpful, as well as institutional chemical experience. Requirements

Express strong troubleshooting abilities
Ability to work independently
Require holding a valid driver's license.
Previous related service repair experience
Previous route experience
Experience working independently
Clean MVR

Nice To Haves

Plumbing and electrical experience very helpful
Institutional chemical experience
Associated degree with courses in communication, electrical, plumbing, and maintenance helpful.

Responsibilities

Installs, repairs, and maintains beverage machines at customer locations.
Installs, repairs, and maintains chemical dispensers.
Selects the appropriate beverage/chemical machine(s), dispenser(s), and parts according to the invoice and service schedule.
Explains proper operation and cleaning procedures, including in-service training when necessary.
Performs emergency repair service (after hours, weekends, and holidays) on an on-call rotation basis.
