About The Position

The Service Technician I is responsible for assisting with the maintenance of common areas and residential units, as well as providing quality customer service. This role is part of the Person-Centered Care team, acting as a care partner for the neighborhood. The goal is to develop warm, friendly relationships with residents, understand them as individuals, and tailor care to foster a deeper connection and personalized approach. This creates an environment of well-being where each resident experiences identity, growth, autonomy, security, connectedness, meaning, and joy. The position requires effectively meeting customer needs by carrying out established customer service and guest relations protocols, maintaining a high degree of responsive and friendly service, and taking responsibility for customer satisfaction. It also involves following departmental safety practices, contributing to a safe work environment, and reporting/correcting unsafe conditions. Proactively fulfilling job responsibilities, demonstrating a positive attitude, and contributing to team success are key. This includes viewing co-workers as customers, respecting their roles, and developing collaborative relationships. Honesty, trustworthiness, and adherence to community policies regarding confidentiality are essential. A commitment to meeting high-quality care and service standards, understanding how job responsibilities contribute to departmental performance, and participating in community performance improvement efforts are expected. Setting high standards for self and others, and taking responsibility and accountability for completing assignments successfully are also important.

Requirements

  • GED or High School Diploma.
  • HVAC Required
  • Minimum of five years of experience (stable job history preferred).
  • Clear background check, drug test, and TB tests.
  • Candidates must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be available to work holidays and weekends.
  • Ability to commute/relocate: Roswell, GA 30075 (Required).

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for minor repairs in residential units, common areas, and mechanical areas.
  • Grounds cleaning.
  • Painting of residential units.
  • Attends required education and training annually.
  • Other duties as assigned.
