About The Position

BFC Solutions is hiring a Service Technician in the Minneapolis area. This role offers a starting pay of $25-27/hour with overtime opportunities, paid training, a take-home company vehicle, weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities for advancement. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in maintenance, warehouse or yard operations, construction, roofing, pest control, cable installation, utility work, delivery/route service, equipment operation, or other hands-on roles who are looking to build a career in the skilled trades. The technician will travel to commercial customer locations to perform scheduled HVAC filter service and basic preventive maintenance.

Requirements

At least 21 years old
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Comfortable using ladders and working at heights up to 36 feet
Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools
Comfortable using a smartphone and mobile apps
Ability to pass required pre-employment screenings

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in HVAC is not required.
Transferable hands-on experience, including: Facility or apartment maintenance, Warehouse or yard operations, Construction, Roofing, Pest control, Cable installation, Utility work, Route service, Delivery, Equipment operation, Refrigeration, Mechanical work.
