About The Position

The ICEE Company is the leader in the frozen beverage industry, offering a comprehensive frozen package and service network. As the largest subsidiary of J&J Snack Foods, ICEE provides frozen beverage and restaurant equipment service. Service Technicians are responsible for servicing all ICEE and restaurant equipment, including Frozen Carbonated and Non-Carbonated dispensers, fountain beverage equipment, ice makers, and juice dispensers. This role operates with minimal supervision and requires attendance at weekly meetings. Team members are provided with a company vehicle, uniforms, tools, cell phone, and tablet.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Strong mechanical background.
Must possess and maintain a valid Real-ID Driver’s License.
Ability to lift 55 lbs. or more on a regular basis. Occasional lifting in excess of 70 lbs. required.
Willing and able to drive more than 40% of the time.
Must have and wear steel-toed shoes.

Nice To Haves

Graduate of Technical or Vocational school, preferred.

Responsibilities

Receives dispatched service calls and ensures a prompt response.
Performs preventative maintenance, troubleshoots, diagnoses service problems, and completes repairs.
Checks product quality, including syrup levels, flavor changes, and machine cleaning.
Maintains inventory and maintenance of parts, tools, and the company vehicle.
Reviews service orders and performed services with the supervisor.
Informs supervisor of customer concerns, needs, and up-selling opportunities.
Documents all work performed and closes out activities upon completion.
Communicates clearly with customers and co-workers.
Performs general warehouse duties, including cleaning, organizing, product rotation, and shipping/receiving of equipment, parts, and product.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
