About The Position

WPM is looking for an experienced Maintenance Tech to join our service team at Quiet Waters Landing in Annapolis, MD. This person will be expected to respond to maintenance work orders, perform preventative maintenance as directed, and prepare units for move-in. Ideal candidates will work well both with a team and individually. Excellent customer service skills required; at least 3 years prior experience in residential maintenance is preferred.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Hands-on knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
• Availability for after-hours emergency response (evenings, weekends, holidays)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• 3–5 years of residential maintenance experience preferred
• HVAC experience/certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance work orders
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance
• Prepare apartment homes for new residents (turnovers)
• Handle general repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance maintenance
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency repairs
