Imperial Dade Service Department has a Non-CDL Delivery Driver role available in Loxley, AL! Join a strong and continuously evolving group, helping us continue to grow our business. As a Non-CDL Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for pick-up and delivery of functional/non-functional floor equipment each day. You will need to load and unload the equipment using the equipment’s own power or a manual pallet jack and deliver it to the customer's location or our Service Department. Providing exceptional customer service is a crucial aspect of this role.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• A good driving record/MVR
• 1 year of delivery experience
• Experience with manual pallet jack, hand truck, hand tools
• Lift gate and pull behind trailer experience
• Ability to sit for 2+ hours
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted
• Must be able to pass a DOT medical exam and a Non-DOT drug exam.
• Ability to find safe, suitable solutions for equipment that’s difficult to move
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck with air brakes up to 25,999 GVW
• Safely operate a 2024 F250 with 7,000lb enclosed trailer
• Load and unload floor equipment
• Safely operate manual pallet jack, lift gate
• Properly maintain documents and tag equipment
• Report any issues, incidents or vehicle service needs to your Service Manager
• Inspect the truck/trailer/box truck before and after the trip
• Safely use GPS while delivering equipment
• Have a driving radius of 2 hours N/S/E/W of Loxley, AL
• Assist the service technicians and team as needed on light driving days
• Communicate with customers with a positive attitude
