About The Position

The Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing front-end operations, ensuring efficient checkout processes, and delivering an outstanding customer experience. This role supports the Service Operations Manager by supervising front-end associates, managing workflow, and maintaining service standards, cash handling accuracy, and store policies.

Requirements

  • Supervise daily front-end activity including checkstands, self-checkout, and service desk
  • Ensure efficient customer flow and minimal wait times
  • Monitor register performance and adjust staffing as needed
  • Support opening and closing procedures
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and lead by example
  • Handle customer concerns, complaints, and escalations professionally
  • Ensure a friendly, welcoming environment at all times
  • Assist with returns, exchanges, and service desk transactions
  • Oversee register accuracy and proper cash handling procedures
  • Perform till audits, pickups, and end-of-day balancing
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and loss prevention standards
  • Monitor and reduce shrink through proper front-end controls
  • Train, coach, and support cashiers and front-end associates
  • Delegate tasks and ensure completion of daily priorities
  • Maintain accountability and productivity across the team
  • Promote a positive and professional work environment
  • Coordinate with department managers to maintain smooth store operations
  • Communicate promotions, policy updates, and operational priorities to staff
  • Assist with scheduling and coverage as needed
