Requirements

GED or High School Diploma.
2-3 years’ experience in supervisory role.
3-5 years of submersible pump experience required.
Efficient in Microsoft Office, standard asset systems/software.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s/technical degree preferred.
Waste Water System experience and pump experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Ensure that team members adhere to all Xylem Safety training and protocols for each given task and have the necessary PPE to do so.
Promote a safety-focused culture by carrying out and ensuring a regular with every team member with daily safety talks.
Hire, develop, support, supervise and coach multiple direct reports.
Execute the established training program for all shop service personnel.
Ensure staff adhere to established policies, procedures (safety, operational, equipment care/use,), and stay in compliance with applicable regulations (such as DOT).
Understand the contract and the scope of the project.
Work directly with project sales and operations team to ensure the positive delivery of the scope.
Schedule and manage field staff in executing scope for the projects.
Provide input during the proposal phase of projects, when applicable.
Keep internal stakeholders informed of shop repair activities, as well as risk and mitigation strategies.
Ensure Area Manager is informed of repair related updates, safety, production reports, project related issues/scope of work.
Responsible for effective quality assurance and quality control on all aspects of the service repairs.
Analyze data, identify discrepancies, and develop and implement corrective actions.
Support and help drive all corporate initiatives up to but not limited to Watermark, Concern reporting, point kaizens.
