Requirements

• No experience required.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Ability to walk, stand, reach, and bend continuously.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Strong team player with a willingness and desire to learn and work hard.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers, offer assistance, and provide friendly, approachable service to ensure customers are taken care of.
• Perform store sweeps, especially in front-end and entrance areas, keeping floors free of spills and debris for the safety of customers and coworkers.
• Clean registers and belts daily, empty check-stand trash cans, and dust and face shelves.
• Collect shopping carts from the parking lot and keep the lot cart-free throughout the shift.
• Perform price checks and return go-back items to their correct locations, prioritizing perishables.
• Help clerks move lines quickly during busy periods by bagging groceries efficiently and protecting the quality and condition of items.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
