This full-time position involves working directly with individuals, guardians, families, and County Boards to attend Individual Service Plan (ISP) meetings. The Service Specialist will be knowledgeable about the services RVI provides, gather data for outcome tracking, and facilitate communication between various stakeholders. Responsibilities include representing RVI INC. at ISP meetings, reviewing and verifying ISPs, creating person-centered skill developments, and relaying meeting information to RVI staff. The role also involves setting up documentation, completing paperwork accurately, participating in professional development, collecting and analyzing individual goal data, and identifying concerns to management. Additionally, the Service Specialist will provide instruction and consultation in various settings, develop community resources, respond to information requests, and maintain documentation for service reimbursement and compliance with regulatory bodies like DODD, CMS, and OOD. The position requires implementing skill development and outcome training, entering ISP information into software systems, providing staff training on ISPs, acting as a contact for documentation systems, reviewing incident reports, reporting safety concerns, practicing Universal Precautions, and performing other tasks as assigned by the Operations Director. Collaboration with co-workers for daily requirements, assisting in compliance reviews, participating in committee meetings and training, performing internal compliance reviews, and acting as an Incident/MUI reporter are also key aspects of the role.
