About The Position
The Hertrich Family of Dealerships is seeking a dependable Part-Time, On-Call Service Shuttle Driver / Customer Service Assistant to support our busy service departments. If you enjoy driving, interacting with people, and staying active, this is a great opportunity to join a respected company while working a flexible schedule on an as-needed basis. Hertrich is a third-generation, family-owned dealership group with 24 Dealerships, 15 Collision Centers, and 18 Automotive Brands. For more than 60 years, we've proudly served the Delmarva Peninsula while supporting over 90 local charities and community organizations. Requirements
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Dependable, professional, and punctual
- Comfortable using smartphones and navigation apps
- Clean, professional appearance
- Valid Driver's License with good driving record
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to work flexible hours on an as-needed basis
Responsibilities
- Transport customers to and from the dealership while their vehicles are being serviced
- Pick up and deliver customer vehicles as needed
- Provide a professional and friendly customer experience
- Maintain a clean and organized service lane area
- Assist with vehicle washing and preparation for customer delivery
- Move completed vehicles to designated pickup locations
- Support service department operations as needed
