About The Position

Kendall Auto Mall of Nampa is seeking a Service Scheduler/Cashier to join their service team. This role is ideal for individuals with strong customer service skills, a strong work ethic, motivation, and time management abilities. The service department operates in a fast-paced environment, serving clients throughout the community. Kendall Auto Group is a large, family-owned and operated dealership group in the Pacific Northwest and a premier employer in the Treasure Valley.

Requirements

• Proven customer service experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Candidates must be comfortable on the phone; taking up to 30 calls per hour.

Nice To Haves

• A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record is not a requirement for this position but would definitely be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls for the service department
• Schedule appointments for the service department
• Assist customers with questions and direct them to the appropriate service advisor
• Take and relay messages accurately
• Make outbound calls to schedule recall appointments and provide service updates
• Occasionally greet and assist customers in person
• Process customer payments using a cash register and credit card systems
• Ensure accurate and efficient transaction handling
