Our client is seeking a driven and experienced Service Sales Manager to lead their service sales division. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for guiding a team of sales and project professionals in estimating, selling, and delivering HVAC and plumbing service projects — with a strong focus on revenue growth, operational efficiency, and profitability.

  • Bachelor's degree in project management or a related field, or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years)
  • 5–7 years of sales experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the team in achieving established sales goals
  • Evaluate potential customers and projects to determine fit and feasibility
  • Oversee the estimating process, ensuring accurate and timely proposals
  • Drive pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM utilization across the team
  • Support pricing strategy, contract negotiation, and closing efforts
  • Oversee assigned projects to ensure delivery meets or exceeds planned profit margins
  • Coordinate logistics, procurement, and vendor partnerships to meet project specifications and timelines
  • Manage permitting and inspection processes to ensure compliance with all codes and regulations
  • Ensure successful equipment start-up, commissioning, and warranty documentation
  • Oversee project closeout, including owner training and acceptance
  • Provide leadership and direction to sales, project management, and field teams
  • Partner with Service Supervisors/Coordinators to align workforce scheduling with project needs
  • Promote and enforce adherence to company safety programs across all job sites
  • Ensure consistent documentation of opportunities, proposals, and client interactions in CRM systems
  • Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
  • Follow up post-project to ensure customer satisfaction and identify additional opportunities
  • Participate in client engagement and business development activities
  • Serve as the designated holder of the company's administrative license
  • Stay current on applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards
  • Support continuous improvement across sales, operations, and service delivery
  • Maintain reliable and punctual attendance
