About The Position

WinnCompanies is looking for a Service Request Coordinator to join their team at Parklands, a 458-unit affordable housing community located in Washington, D.C. In this role, the candidate will assist with the planning, coordinating, and implementation of resident programs within affordable housing communities. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for supervising all activities in the pool area of the property and ensuring the safety and well-being of patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies. The pay range for this role is $24.00-$25.00 per hour.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • A current vehicle license in good standing and meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
  • Experience with computer systems required which, include web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which includes Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.
  • Ability to summarize and communicate moderately complex information in varied written formats to internal and external customers.
  • Work collaboratively in small teams to improve the operations of immediate work group by offering ideas, identifying issues, and respecting team members.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers in a professional, service-oriented, respectful manner using skills in active listening and problem solving.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and record service requests for residents; answer phones and accept service calls in addition to performing data entry duties for all service calls generated from city agency violations and received from answering service.
  • Track the current status of all Housing Department complaints violations on a routine basis, working on-site team to ensure timely certification of all violations issued by the city.
  • Provide administrative support to DOF and Violations Specialist as needed.
  • Schedule regional and national vendors for service calls including but not limited to: pest control services, appliance repair/replacement, etc.
  • Act as regional office receptionist as needed addressing resident issues, accepting rent payments, intake and sorting of mail, etc.
