The Service Representative role involves assisting members visiting the credit union, promoting and selling products and services, and managing various financial accounts. This position requires adherence to credit union policies, understanding of all products and services, and contributing to new business development. Responsibilities include performing a variety of member transactions, balancing a teller drawer, and ensuring the security of cash and member information. The role also focuses on member relationship management to identify sales opportunities and generate product/service referrals. Additionally, the Service Representative will respond to member inquiries, concerns, and complaints, communicate information effectively, and direct members to appropriate departments. Other duties include correspondence, file maintenance, data entry, assisting the Branch Manager, and training new representatives. Compliance with the Bank Secrecy and Anti Money Laundering Acts is also a key responsibility.
