About The Position
Wilson Trailer Company is looking for a Service Repair Welder for their Service and Repair Department located in Sioux City, Iowa. This is a fast-paced environment where the Service employee will diagnose, repair, and service trailers in a safe and professional manner. Training for welding is provided.
Requirements
- Mechanic experience.
- Ability to work in a standing position and/or walk up to 100% of the time.
- Ability to bend, stoop, crawl around equipment, and crawl in and out of trailers and to work from ladders.
- Ability to carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Objects over 50 lbs, use two people.
- Welding experience (determines starting pay).
Responsibilities
- Replace or repair damaged trailers.
- Perform trailer alignments and adjustments.
- Repair and replace brakes, cams and wheel seals.
- Welding some steel and aluminum.
